If you’re just hearing about Abby Cope Photography for the first time - I am a New York City based photographer focusing on Maternity, Newborn, Babies, Children, Teens, Family and any and every combination of those categories. In NYC I travel throughout the boroughs and surrounding areas photographing families in their homes, parks and everywhere in between.
This blog features the same children’s portraiture that I’m known for, with sneak peaks from photo shoots and all of the latest studio information. I try to update it often - though it's hard when things are busy!
In addition to being a New York City Photographer, I've also been known to do photo shoots in Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Kentucky, Minnesota, California…and anywhere else people are inclined to bring me to be a part of a special day, event or moment in their family’s history.
Chiara’s mom, Jenny, is a fine artist and muralist. She actually specializes in painting murals in nurseries/children’s bedrooms. She also happens to LOVE the color green, so it was no surprise to me when I showed up for the shoot that nearly everything she had on hand for our photo sessions was green green green! We took the photos at their home in Westchester and little Chiara was a delight. The wings were also Jenny’s touch. This is probably the most Anne Gedde’s-esque shoot I’ve done.
